Sources?[edit]

Any clues as to source? I found mentioning "Translated by Constance Garnett" and including one of the typos recently 'fixed' by an IP:

"That was because I spoke without any not of reproach, ..."

This preview does not go down to the other recent 'fix' of 'fair' to 'fare'.

Also this has the exact same typos.

Seems like the recent 'fixes' ought to be reverted, or rather replaced with appropriate uses of {{SIC}}, so that readers know that we know that they suspect what we've suspected - misprints? Shenme (talk) 20:50, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Until this is backed by a scan, there is no way to justify either a change or the marking of an apparent error. Ideally we would want a scan. Once we have this backed by a scan, then we can evaluate potential errors against the scan. --EncycloPetey (talk) 20:56, 26 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
