Information about this edition
Edition: first edition.
Source: Scanned pages were uploaded and later edited for images. The text was imported from Gutenberg [1]. All pages were placed into Category:Pigling Bland
Contributor(s): Banjee_ca
Level of progress:
Notes: A couple of pages were missing from the first edition copy that was scanned. Proofreading against the remained showed the Gutenberg to be very accurate. The color plates were edited using standard filters, except the cover page - which had more extensive editing.

Beatrix Potter died in 1946 - Thusly by current UK rules (and B.Potter is a UK authour, copyright will not expire until at least 2016) ShakespeareFan00 06:59, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No country has the rule of the longer term, and hence Beatrix Potter is out of copyright in many countries around the world, including the US. Since Wikisource uses the US rules, we can host Beatrix Potter.--Prosfilaes (talk) 16:54, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I have modified the files to be {{do not move to Commons|expiry=2016}}, so we can know to move the files to Commons in 2017. — billinghurst sDrewth 12:31, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Note the above was wrong: w:Beatrix Potter say died 1943. So whatever they are tagged with they CAN now be on Commons :) ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 17:21, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

List of images[edit]

Below is a list of images, though there seems an issue with the one labelled 32-33 as it is 34-35, and there is not image for pp. 32 and 33.

I have generated Index:The Tale of Pigling Bland to enable the migration to a text integrated approach. — billinghurst sDrewth 14:25, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
