LXXI.
In the name of life.
Blessed and praised be life;
blessed and praised be the name of life
in the place of light.
Blessed be you, my Lord Mandā d-Haijē,
you and your power, your splendor,
your light, your glory, and your help.
Blessed are you, my father Jōšamīn,
Pure One, son of the planting of the mighty life.
Blessed are you, second life,
life that came from life.
Blessed are you, Šilmai and Nidbai,
the Uthras, the guardians of the Jordan.
Blessed are you, Nsab and Arian-Nsab.
Blessed be our father Hibil, Šitil and Anōš,
the name and head of the whole tribe.
Blessed be you, high Abathur;
blessed and established be the great Škīnā in which you sit.
Blessed be you, 4 men, the sons of salvation,
who go out to meet the good.
They go forth to meet the good
and clothe the good with garments.
Blessed be you, light earth,
blessed and praised be your inhabitants.
Blessed be you, Way of the Great, Path of the Perfect,
Footbridge that ascends to the Place of Light.
Blessed be you, Nazerene, from whom the chosen learn.
From you the chosen ones learn and act with wage-payment and almsgiving.
With payment of wages and almsgiving they act,
therefore they ascend and behold the place of light.
Blessed be you, Jordan of living waters,
from whom we fetched victoriousness.
From you we took victoriousness
and received the pure sign.
My parents looked to the life,
my teachers to the place of light.
The Uthras of the victorious light,
Abathur and the sons of salvation,
who stand and praise life.
May the peace of life be granted to the knowledgeable ones
who have passed away from our midst.
May he, my Lord Mandā d-Haijē, be a helper to the poor,
humble people and the disciples (priests).
With thanks be received the kindness of life,
the kindness of life and the Mandā d-Haijē.
The service they have rendered in the name of life, ...
To everyone who gives alms, alms will be a helper.
The chosen and perfect ones, who give alms,
will ascend on the paths of the Kuštā.
They were given an ether wreath,
a wreath of speech and hearing,
of joy and victoriousness,
of Goodness and greatness.
A wreath from the vine Rwaz will be erected
on the head of those souls who have been brought forth,
consecrated and marked by this mass,
as well as (the souls of) our fathers, teachers, brothers and sisters
who have departed from their bodies
and who still dwell in their bodies,
a wreath of the kind that the great (life) erects on its head,
as the great (life) gave it to the Uthras and the Uthras gave it to their disciples.
You physician, whose remedy is water, come, be a physician to your friends.
Be a physician to your friends, and a helper to him who gives alms.
Whom you have healed, my lord, give him also strength.
Whoever stands before you, look at him and do not condemn him.
My Lord, high king of light, revealer, whose eyes are open,
who seeks justice for his friends and brings it to fruition.
Provide us justice before our persecutors,
before the persecutors who persecute us,
and before the evil-doers
and the evil-doers who plot evil against us.
If it pleases you, my Lord, high King of Light,
look upon us and do not condemn us.
Look also upon those souls who believed in you,
who stand in thy name in the Tibil and are persecuted.
Show us the pure ether,
so that we forget the persecution of the Tibil,
so that we may forget the persecution of the Tibil
and the wrath of the wicked and the liars.
Strengthen us our insight, our voice,
our enlightenment and our praise.
(With this, the great life connected you
and raised you up in an excellent way).
From the splendor and the light of my Lord Mandā d-Haijē
and from the peace of life rest a part on us.
My chosen ones! say:
Blessed be the voice of life,
blessed be the great lamp,
which is all light.
And blessed be the life.
