Suspicious usages of {{EB1911 Fine Print}}, where the intention might be to use this template as a span. This is usually:

  • Use in section titles on non-scan-backed articles (this formatting is not in original work)
  • Use in captions of images (a div template wouldn't hurt here, but it's hard to separate this usage out)
  • Use when continuing a previous page's fine text, where the /s,/e subtemplates would be a better fit

The only place a span template is required is where it runs on the same line as non-fine print. It's not clear (to me) if there are actually any such usages.

This list is not necessarily exhaustive, and not all entries are actually bad usage.
