Welcome

Hello, and welcome to Wikisource! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. For one thing, if you continue to edit without a username, your IP address is used to publicly identify you.

In any case, I hope you enjoy donating your time to grow the Wikisource library that is free for everyone to use! In discussions, please sign your comments using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question here (click edit) and place {{helpme}} before your question. Again, welcome! — billinghurst sDrewth 14:17, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

All pages have been restored—is the NPR interview also PD? --kathleen wright5 (talk) 00:52, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much Kathleen. I think you can take that one down, I thought since it was a short excerpt I would put it on but in hindsight I shouldn't have.

What do you think about listing the table of contents for his poetry books like I did with Some Common Weaknesses? Should we take that one off too?--193.251.43.248 00:58, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is Some Common Weaknesses from a PD or CC work—if not it will have to be deleted?

Let's pull down SCW and the interview but the other 4 are fine, have a CC. I'll try to send an e-mail about the interview, see if I can get that segment into the PD. Thanks for helping with this page, --193.251.43.248 01:18, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Are you the User:Seancasey00 from Commons if so the photo you uploaded needs evidence of permission or it will be deleted 7 days after 2 February 2011. When you delinked Some Common Weaknesses the photo disappeared. --kathleen wright5 (talk) 01:28, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I saw that too. I had meant to switch to the other image, just did. --193.251.43.248 01:39, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

(back tracking to here) As the publications themselves do not state that they are in the public domain, we should have authoritative statements from the owners of the copyright into the system The OTRS process at Commons would flow over to here, so when the request for Commons is sent, you should also add in the components about Wikisource so they label the work here. — billinghurst sDrewth 02:56, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet, or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify them. Such an IP address can be shared by several users.
