Dred Scott v. Sandford , Please when adding a new text, give the URL or source you are working or importing from on the talk page. You can use {{textinfo}} to include this information on the talk page.

This is so others can be sure any errors present in the transcription where present in the original printing or manuscript. ( If you find something that is obviously a printers error you can use {{SIC}} to mark what the correct printing should be.

Also generally on Wikisource, we don't put inline page numbers (the ones you've put in bold), unless they were present in the original manuscript/printing specifically. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 14:26, 21 June 2019 (UTC)

PD-USGov-SCOTUS

The template {{PD-USGov-SCOTUS}} is used to tag images (see the text of the template). For written works, {{PD-USGov}} applies. WS practice in the past has been to limit the number of templates, rather than proliferate new ones. There is no separate law that requires a SCOTUS-specific license.
