Script has stopped working[edit]

@Inductiveload: This script has stopped working for me. The "High-res options" button still shows up in the toolbar, but nothing happens if I click it, and the extra drop-down menu with links to the source and to where the page is transcluded has disappeared. I'm happy to provide more details as needed. —CalendulaAsteraceae (talk) 18:39, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@CalendulaAsteraceae: OK, try it now. Obviously my bright idea is not ready for prime time! Inductiveloadtalk/contribs 19:29, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Inductiveload: All better; thank you! —CalendulaAsteraceae (talk) 19:30, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Source offset and high-res image link don't match up[edit]

I noticed this on Page:Zion's Watchtower 1887.pdf/2. To have the correct page display when editing, I need a source offset of -1. However, the link to a high-res image is not offset from the PDF. What's going on here? —CalendulaAsteraceae (talkcontribs) 08:07, 9 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@CalendulaAsteraceae Sorry, I never saw this message. I see it too. It's an odd one, maybe because there's a cover page that's "n0" at the IA. I'll see if I can figure out how the image and link can end up different. Inductiveloadtalk/contribs 11:38, 10 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Migrating to the newer JS API[edit]

@Inductiveload (cc ping @Xover as an active interface admin) Would it be possible to migrate this script to use the new/updated page viewer API ? The old API is going to cause issues with EditInSequence since this script doesn't 'listen' for a change (prp-osd-before-creation) event which is the indication of a new Page image being loaded (going to new page). Sohom (talk) 21:37, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

EditinSequence is currently deployed on Beta Wikisource (en.wikisource.beta.wmflabs.org) and on Neapolitan Wikisource (nap.wikisource.org) in case you need to test the scripts. :) Sohom (talk) 21:42, 8 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Xover Could you replace User:Inductiveload/jump to file.js with User:Sohom Datta/jump to file.js ? (Contains a few changes to align with phab:T348078 and a fix for the archive.org endpoint which has moved from archivelabs.org to archive.org since this script was written) Sohom (talk) 14:47, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Sohom Datta: It doesn't make sense to me to rewrite the IIIF URL in the client when it's generated in the backend (here). And given that with the iiif.archivelabs.org → iiif.archive.org migration they are also changing the IIIF version they return, are we sure nothing will break by this change? iiif.archivelabs.org does still seem to work? Xover (talk) 18:45, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Xover Ah it appears to work now. A while back it @ShakespeareFan00 mentioned on Discord that the endpoint wasn't working, I had assumed that the endpoint was still down. :( Sohom (talk) 18:59, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
