[edit]

Thank you so much, @Jan.Kamenicek for reaching out to me. This really means a lot to me. Thanks for your comprehensive guidance; it is making huge sense, I am actually here to stay, I joined wikimedia 2018 when I was in search of how to make an impact, but unfortunately, I have been inactive as I had no or little knowledge of the right platform Learn how to contribute the right way on Wikimedia. Currently on OpenstreetMap, which I discovered a few months ago before wiki, I am currently having 600,000 edits, and I hope to do that soon on Wikimedia. Thanks to African Growth Project for the ongoing training which I am part of; it is so helpful and resourceful

I will be in touch with you, as I will be glad to learn more, contribute more and contribute perfectly, and please you can also check my activities and alert me where I need to Adjust.

Once again, Thank You. KingVik Planet (talk) 09:05, 15 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hey

[edit]

Thanks for your proofreading efforts in this month's challenge! Yesterday, I mentioned you in the talk page of the file page about whether the work should make use of {{gap}} at the start of some paragraphs, and I'd like to hear any remark that you may have to defend your usage of the template. The style guide tells us that paragraphs shouldn't be indented, though it says "it is not a set of rigid rules." If you do not discuss, I might have to remove the gap templates to keep the book consistent with other works in Wikisource. Once again, thank you! ObserveOwl (talk) 11:36, 15 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Alright Thank you, @ObserveOwl, Maybe I have to wait for that clarification before I proceed, or should I continue without using it until I get the clarification?
KingVik Planet (talk) 11:51, 15 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
I mean, the choice is yours, though I'd prefer if you waited while providing some argument in the talk page that would show that the indentation in the book is a special case, and that it should be kept. It's ok if you don't have any, just say that in the talk page and I'll try to remove the gap tags throughout the book. ObserveOwl (talk) 12:17, 15 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
Heya, are you there? You haven't been editing for a bit, it's ok if you don't want to contribute anymore but sorry if I scared you off or anything. I was just asking if you believed the book was a special case and the style guide could be discarded for this case. If not, you could continue proofreading without using {{gap}}. Alright then, Thank you
