Globalreplace[edit]

Please be careful using Globalreplace on Wikisource. Works on Wikisource should use the same images that are present in the original scans. You replaced an illustration with a (very different) photograph. This kind of change is fine on pages unrelated to works, meaning it's often fine to subjectively switch illustrations on Author:, Portal:, etc pages, but not on Page:, Index, or even Mainspace, which host text of works.

Above are the two images you switched, to demonstrate the differences between them, plus another... In looking into this change, I noticed this third image which was similar to the original, and in fact it appears to be the same illustration, but at a much higher quality and resolution. A direct replacement could actually be extracted from this other image. (That said, neither image is quite identical to what's present in the original scan, and the standards on Wikisource have actually increased since this text was added.) djr13 (talk) 13:21, 3 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
