Indian Home Rule[edit]

Hello Satdeep, I was checking the book Indian Home Rule and saw that you have removed justification and text indentation from all the pages. Is there any issue with that? If not why it shouldn't be like it has in original book? 1997kB (talk) 03:49, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @1997kB: I removed the text indentation based on this: Help:Beginner's_guide_to_typography#Paragraphs_and_sentences. I believe text justification is also something that can be done on main namespace pages instead of individual pages. I would like to learn if there is a policy around that. --Satdeep Gill (talk) 00:34, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think that the guide you linked is talking about manual indentation (using spaces). What we did here was using template {{text-indent}}, but I'm no expert here. Pinging an admin for input who also worked on book @Kathleen.wright5:. --1997kB (talk) 02:27, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Formatting for paragraphs should be a single blank line and the first line of each paragraph is not indented. See no.4 under Wikisource:Style_guide#Formatting--kathleen wright5 (talk) 12:31, 7 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
