Just a pointer to how Wikisource manages translations. Generally Wikisource addresses works in the sense that we reproduce the original works (documents or publications) as is, and that is for original language or published translations. However, we know that some works are not available in their language, so we allow and encourage translations by the Wikisource community, hence the | translator = Wikisource. Any person is able to add and edit translation where they think that they can improve such a translation, if they have suggestions or wish to discuss then it is on the talk page of the work or the contributor. — billinghurst sDrewth 23:52, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
