Formatting of poems in this work[edit]

  • Do not use <poem> tags, instead use {{block center}} and explicit <br /> at the end of each line. ( see example )
Use {{block center/s}} and {{block center/e}} for poems that span more than one page.
Use {{block center|style=font-size:92%}} when poems are set in a smaller font size.
  • If the first line has a punctuation mark that stands to the left of the poem's margin, then use {{fqm}} for the punctuation.
  • Where lines in a stanza are inset use {{gap|1em}}.
  • Use a double return between stanzas.
  • Where poems are attributed (e.g. those on page 10) use {{right}} to place the attribution before closing the block templates.
It may be necessary to include an offset, as {{right|Attr.|-3em}}, to reproduce the formatting.

Other formatting issues[edit]

  • If you come across any Greek text and you don't know how to set Greek, then mark the place with {{Greek missing}} and set the page to problematic. One of the Greek specialists here will deal with that part.
  • Use standard wiki markup for footnotes/references (<ref>text of footnote</ref>) and place {{smallrefs}} in the footer of that page.

A Greek thing ...[edit]

Is the Greek on page 9 in italics? And is there such a thing? Moondyne (talk) 14:14, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

There isn't really such a thing. Just use either the {{greek}} or the {{polytonic}} template, which gets a pretty good font. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 05:48, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
