documentation[edit]

@Inductiveload: please would you document the new parameter added, thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:14, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Billinghurst: It's not a parameter, it just stops the image elements taking you to the icons' File pages. Inductiveloadtalk/contribs 00:23, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Kewl. The diff shortcut the whole context. Summaries do help. Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:31, 30 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

This seems pretty handy (finding out about it through Portal:Song_lyrics). Is there a way to differentiate sung versions and 'karaoke' versions of tunes? Arlo Barnes (talk) 14:55, 7 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Proposed merge with template: scan[edit]

I propose we merge this template with the Template:Scan article since it also covers a non wikitext media source. Any thoughts Bluealbion (talk) 02:07, 24 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Strongly disagree. Scans are foundational to the ethos of Wikisource and are not comparable to other media that are optional here. Also, the {{Scan}} template is only intended to be used temporarily while we proofread the text. Once the text is transcluded to the Mainspace, the Scan template should be removed from the pages it is on and replaced by a Wikilink. This is not the case for the other media.
