Are you making changes to more closely match the source document that is identified at the outset of the page, or are you making editorial changes to match the audio? Our source text is what we are presenting; we do not alter source texts, even when they contain errors. Doing so misrepresents our source. There are several ways to handle such errors, but the first stepo is to ensure that you understand that Wikisource is faithful to the sources we present, even if that means replicating errors. --EncycloPetey (talk) 21:04, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
