Dratted sections[edit]
Hi. When you have section that you wish to name Salvation from the "Land without Return" then you cannot use the "…" as the wrapper as it will close early. Fortunately we can interchange single and double quotes for the tag. So in this case we can open and close with a single quote. I have modified it to be <section begin='Salvation from the "Land without Return"' />. If you are transcluding using the <pages /> you will need to utilise the same methodology for the wrapping the section names. Personally I use it in the tagged form … {{#tag:pages||index=addyourfilename.djvu|from=|to=|fromsection=sectionname|tosection=sectionname}} which doesn't require the wrapping as it sucks the whole input field within the pipes. Ping me if you are having any issues. — billinghurst sDrewth 16:13, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you so much. I'm very new to sections and transcluding and I must admit it's a bit cumbersome and confusing. Now I need to watch out for errant quotation marks too :). Thanks for the tip re the tagged form - I'll go with that from now on.Onewaymule87 (talk) 00:55, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
