Formatting templates[edit]

Hi BlobcatsAreCool,

I notice you created Template:Nas with the content {{Template:Nastali'q|{{1}}}}. If all you want is to invoke a template with a shorter name (nas instead of Nastali'q, there is no need for that extra template call at all. Redirects work fine for templates too, so you can just put #REDIRECT [[Template:Nastali'q]] there and then {{nas}} will work the same as {{nastali'q}}.

I would also ask that you please write documentation for Template:Nastali'q. We are somewhat overloaded with specialised templates created by a single user for a particular purpose, and which nobody else understands or knows what it is used for. Documentation allows reuse, and lets the community assess whether this is an appropriate use of templates, and so forth. Thanks, --Xover (talk) 16:04, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Transclusions[edit]

Hi. I have played with your transclusions to bring them into our style. Some notes on what I have done.

  1. used numbers for the Parts. We have aligned to a standardised numbering system for works, and we use numbers for names, rather than roman numerals
  2. relative links
  3. div class=prose won't work for transcluded works; the {{default layout}} is the means to direct a display, though still allow users to have their preference
  4. subpages don't require year parameter, and the notes for a work sit at the top of the work, and subsidiary notes would be pertinent to the subpage alone

Buzz me if there are issues, or you need some guidance. — billinghurst sDrewth 07:56, 1 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
