Tables[edit]

As the coding on Tables of Contents inside tables works well, though can get intensely ugly and confusing, we have done a bit of work to create {{table style}} which has much of the needed code, and hopefully with intuitive parameters. Also to note that we have a couple of global table classes "valign" and "valignb" that are useful to apply. Interesting work BTW. — billinghurst sDrewth 14:39, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Many thanks for the welcome, the suggestions and the compliment. I am still trying to find my way around in wikisource so I can use all the hints and suggestions I can get. I actually stumbled over Le Plongeon's work while doing research for an article on the German Wikipedia about Naacal, a term which I found when delving into the Cthulhu-Mythos. Ha ha! Strange paths indeed. -- Kurst (talk) 05:03, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

paragraphs[edit]

Welcome to en.wikisource! I hope this tip saves you some trouble. The common practice is to ignore the indent that indicates a new paragraph (in justified text formats}, and use two returns instead. There is [a] way to reproduce that style, though using {{gap}} to do it is not recommended, but the simple and clean way is to do what we do at the wikipedias. An example of what I mean can be found at this 'Page', which is transcluded in this article. CYGNIS INSIGNIS 11:23, 9 May 2011 (UTC) [fix 13:13, 9 May 2011 (UTC)][reply]

Ah, I see. The indents/{{gap}}s were a misunderstanding of some of the instuctions on the help pages, but a closer look into the examples presented there made it clearer now. Thanks. -- Kurst 12:17, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Cool, the help pages do need improving. And I have to agree with Billinghurst about the fascinating text, digging around in the enigmatic precursors to Lovecraft's mythos is v. cool. Regards, CYGNIS INSIGNIS 13:10, 9 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
