Humanity And Peace

[edit]

I noticed you were working on this, though it not clear who thought to include the poems. The site says, "LOOKING FOR PUBLISHER", which seems to indicate that it only appears at poem.blog.co.in. This could conflict with our scope as a library, not a publisher, and may not be eligible for inclusion. cygnis insignis 10:28, 30 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Actually, there looks to be quite a number of works that have been added that do not seem to be clearly works that we would include. Can you please identify where these works have been previously published, and would you please do this before you contribute any more work to the site. Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 10:55, 30 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Deletion

[edit]

The contributions you made were deleted, with the consent of the community. The discussion was at Wikisource:Proposed_deletions#Humanity_And_Peace, I apologise for failing to provide a link for that.

However, three users attempted to discuss this with you. The software of the site would have alerted you to the section above here, with a banner "you have new messages". You appeared to be to ignoring the queries, and to continue uploading your works. It is not the case that "I find all my contributions being removed after my return…", this was during a period when you were contributing.

Reopen the discussion if you like, cygnis insignis 05:24, 12 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

(Munnanmisra (talk) 01:12, 13 October 2010 (UTC))If it is appropriate for me to add pages on Hanuman Chalisa, Ganesh Chalisa and other Chalisa's that I have written and would give up my copyrights on along with the Bhagvata Gita's Crux please intimate me. I had put up these works earlier and would like to do so again if it be agreeable. However I would not like to labor again if it is not acceptable. Please advise.Reply

Deletion of My [Munindra (Munnan) Misra] contributions on Wikisource and Wikipedia

[edit]

(Munnanmisra (talk) 00:47, 12 October 2010 (UTC))I have been out of town owing to a death in the family. The works has been written by me in English rhyme and to my knowledge are the only works of their kind in the Hindu culture. I had agreed to release it under the open Creative Common Attributes License and yet I find all my contributions being removed after my return on the Hanuman Chalisa, Ganesh Chalisa, Pt. K.L. Misra etc. Please help and advice.Reply

As stated above, you may wish to re-open the discussion Wikisource:Proposed_deletions#Humanity_And_Peace, but you will need to provide legitimate publication status. Wikisource is not the place to host previously non-published works - it is more akin to a library than a clearing house. George Orwell III (talk) 20:14, 13 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Temp block

[edit]

You have not replied to the above previously outlined concerns yet re-created Hanuman chalisa (a variant of the recently deleted Hanuman Chalisa) anyway. Further editing from this account has been blocked for a short period of time in hopes you will address the matter properly. George Orwell III (talk) 01:06, 14 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

(Munnanmisra (talk) 01:15, 14 October 2010 (UTC)) I have uploaded the Hanuman Chalisa as written by me. It has been published and is available in a number of temples in India. My Poems - Humanity And Peace is not published so I have not created or edited the same. Please advise what else I need to clarify. Without knowing further I shall be restraining myself from any further editing. Please do help as I am relatively new and am not able to comprehend what to do or how to go about doing the same.Reply

At face value, that does not meet the standard(s) for WS inclusion. (See WS:WWI#Original_contributions for the general guidlines). George Orwell III (talk) 01:28, 14 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

(Munnanmisra (talk) 11:39, 14 October 2010 (UTC))After reading the general guidelines I feel that it can be added as "adding value to existing publications". There are exiting pages of the Hanuman Chalisa in Hindi Language. Lord Hanuman is a very popular God in India and to my knowledge there are no existing compositions in English rhyme to the Hanuman Chalisa than the one I have written. Links for your reference to Hanuman Chalisa to my knowledge are as under: 1. Hanuman 2. Hanuman Chalisa in Hindi Language by Tulsi Das 3. Anjani Putra If you still feel that this composition is not acceptable in Wiki please specify and I shall not intrude on your time again Thanks for your help anyway.Reply
