Hi Shirin (as I discovered your name is on the English Wikipedia)! Thank you for letting me know about the correctness of the Declaration. As the history of the page shows, there's a history of vandalism and anonymous editing that led me to view this latest reduction in page size as—in this case erroneously—another instance of malicious activity, and for being thus mistaken I apologize. It also didn't help that you lacked a user page accessible from this wiki. I think you should disclaim on your user page on the English Wikisource that you do in fact work with the UN. (If you want to do this for all sites, you can make a user page on Meta-Wiki here so that it shows up on all Wikimedia wikis.) Mahir256 (talk) 21:29, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Wikisource works on versions of published works, and if you have a translation by a different translator, then that should be a complete separate version, not an amendment to the existing translation. We would encourage you to add the other version, and then we will look to present both versions, and utilise a {{versions}} page. At this point I have reverted your edits to the declaration. — billinghurst sDrewth 22:43, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
If you believe that there are errors in the contribution, or there is clear {{veracity}} issues with the version itself, then we can have that conversation, we wouldn't normally just overwrite an existing edition, it is a more mindful and rigorous approach — billinghurst sDrewth 22:56, 15 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
