Missing images[edit]

According to the List of Illustrations, there should be 12 images in this book, but only 3 have been included. The source file appears to be lacking 9 of the illustrations. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:25, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I've looked but can't find an alternative source file. Beeswaxcandle (talk) 06:29, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
So what do we do? This copy is dependent upon a defective file, but the work has been selected as part of validation month. It can't be completely validated if the book is incomplete. --EncycloPetey (talk) 16:26, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The illustrations with captions are available at multiple locations on the web (e.g. here). Would it be okay to upload the jpegs with captions as a source (e.g. here)? MarkLSteadman (talk) 17:14, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Can they be incorporated into the DjVu file, so that they will also appear in the correct locations in the "Source"? Anyone looking at the Index page would not be able to locate these images otherwise. If they are not included in the DjVu, we'll have to manually insert them at the appropriate locations within each chapter. --EncycloPetey (talk) 19:07, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
