Panmunjom Declaration[edit]

Did the Korean Government publish this text in English? Your source is the Japan Times, which is a commercial newspaper. If they made the English translation themselves, then we cannot host the translation here. Works must be in the public domain. --EncycloPetey (talk) 02:11, 29 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your feedback. from my understanding, the Chinese and Japanese and Russia version on Wikisource does not contain any source data and I think that it might fixed version of translation by Google translator. I will remove the source part at the moment Goodtiming8871 (talk) 02:17, 29 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

I updated the source date with the Korean Government published version. There are several version of English translations by several other news but it looks all automatic translator by Facebook or Google. I corrected some of the incorrect automatic translation. A letter from Kim Jong Un[edit]

Hi, Goodtiming8871,

Is there a reason you didn't upload the source document itself and start a transcription project for this document? Scan- or photo-backed transcriptions are much more useful than unsourced ones, especially ones sourced from an image on social media which could disappear at any time. (Also a better name may have been 'A letter from Kim Jong Un to Donald Trump', since Kim Jong Un presumably sends and has sent other letters.)

Hi Mukkakukaku,

Thank you for your kind advice, and I entirely agree with your guide, I will proceed with the two action items as soon as practicable. 1) Update the subject to the more significant name 2) Upload the original letter in both English and Korean version.
