[edit]

I notice that you recently created the page Magdalena Aebi‎. Is this supposed to represent a previously published work, or were you trying to make a page for the author? If it is the latter, these belong in the "Author:" namespace (I can move it there for you if you like).

I also wonder, given all the titles listed are in German; has this person ever published anything in English? If there are no English-language works, and all works are in modern copyright so there is unlikely to be compatibly licensed third-party translations, we usually do not create author pages here. --Xover (talk) 13:36, 8 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Oh, I have deleted the page, didn't see the conversation already. Author died 1980, and works would still be covered by copyright, nothing evident in the public domain. — billinghurst sDrewth 16:19, 8 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
I have restored the page and moved it into your user ns; replaced {{author}} with {{process header}}. — billinghurst sDrewth 16:23, 8 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
billinghurst I'm sorry, I'm new on Wikisource. I wasn't sensible enough to read the guidelines so I must have hurried with creating the page. I will read the guidelines first, sorry again for the mess. --Less Unless (talk) 20:43, 8 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
Another difference between Wikipedia and Wikisource is that here {{u}} means underline. The equivalent template here is {{ul2}}. But {{re}} and {{ping}} work on most projects. Confusing, I know. In any case, this means billinghurst will not have gotten a notification for your reply, so I've added one here.
And don't worry about any "mess": it was a very small one and easily cleaned up. It's what happens when we try to make the world's largest omelet with the full population of the planet as potential cooks in the kitchen. It's why we have people running around with a mop! :-) --Xover (talk) 07:26, 9 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
