Trees, Stars, and Birds: A Book of Outdoor Science

Is this book appropriate for inclusion on Wikisource? I couldn't find it in the project by searching.

There are a few copies of this text on Archive.org, but both have different properties

  • [1] - 1922 printing, Google Books Digitization. (Color corrected Color Plates Present, undamaged pg 397 and on)
  • [2] - 1919 printing (Color plates Present on pg 397 and on, but not color corrected. Minor damage).

There's also a 1919 review of the book digitized on Archive.org [3] - 1919 review, JSTOR

Thank you for your time! --Mbrickn (talk) 05:56, 10 September 2020 (UTC)

@Mbrickn: This book is appropriate for enWS , and so is the review.
The "UofT" volume probably has the better images - though the Google scan has had the background automatically subtracted, the images are heavily compressed and there is no original JP2 photographs like the UofT version. Inductiveloadtalk/contribs 15:34, 17 September 2020 (UTC)

Court rolls of the manor of Ingoldmells - available on Hathitrust and Google Books

This work appears to be public domain -- it was published in the UK in 1902 and its author died in 1910. As such, I would like to upload it here, but it doesn't seem to be available to UK IPs (I don't know why -- it is clearly PD in the UK). I need it for work I'm doing over at Wikipedia and it would be great to make the text available freely. Would someone please upload it here for me? The Hathitrust catalogue record is here. The Google Books record is here. I'd be grateful for any assistance. Thanks! —Noswall59 (talk) 09:11, 14 September 2020 (UTC).

Lyrics to many (most?) Tom Lehrer songs are now mostly public domain

Hi! I saw that Tom Lehrer just released a ton of his songs' lyrics to "be downloaded and used in any manner whatsoever" at https://tomlehrersongs.com/. Maybe they should be put on here? DemonDays64 (talk) 23:11, 20 October 2020 (UTC) (please ping on reply)

Note that I am not 100% clear that how this was done is acceptable for WikiSource. DemonDays64 (talk) 23:11, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
Lots of collections are always wanted, is there anything that makes this any more important than any other collection? It may be more useful to add them to the author page, and then link to them. — billinghurst sDrewth 00:54, 21 October 2020 (UTC)
