General Prologues[edit]

The Old Testament[edit]

The New Testament[edit]

The following books are non-canonical to Judaism, but are part of the biblical canon of all mainstream Christian denominations, including Protestant, Catholic, and Orthodox churches.

Deuterocanonicals and Apocrypha[edit]

The following books are part of the biblical canon in some Christian denominations, but are rejected by other denominations. In particular these works are generally either accepted by Catholic and Orthodox churches but rejected by Protestants, or are canonical in the Ethiopian Orthodox church but rejected in all other mainstream denominations.

Some denominations, such as the Church of England, consider these books to be valuable religious writings despite not considering them to be part of biblical canon.

Pseudepigrapha[edit]

The following books have been listed among the biblical canon in some historical writings, but are not considered canonical by any contemporary Christian denomination.
