Records of the Virginia Company of London
[edit]I saw that you were editing these, and wanted your opinion on something related (since I was interested in also proofreading them at some point). What do you think should be done in terms of the special characters here? I’m especially concerned about the weird “p” modifications and the last two characters. TE(æ)A,ea. (talk) 03:22, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
- I have never seen those "p" characters used before and I'm not sure on how to proceed with the proofreading of that page or subsequent pages with those characters. It's probably something that should be raised in Scriptorium/Help. DraftSaturn15 (talk) 03:48, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
Australian law
[edit]Hi, I've proofread your Death Penalty Abolition Act 1973 and completed the last bits of the Home Affairs Act 2023. I'll look forward to collaborating with you in other legal projects!廣九直通車 (talk) 11:38, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you! DraftSaturn15 (talk) 11:56, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
Succession to the Crown Act 2015 (Western Australia)
[edit]It looks as though you added this to the New Texts list and then created the pages of the work. That's backwards. The work should be fully proofread before listing it as a New Text. --EncycloPetey (talk) 03:18, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello EncycloPetey,
- The text that I added to New Texts is the Australian federal Succession to the Crown Act which I fully proofread today. The State of Western Australia also has a Succession to the Crown Act which I started proofreading today. They have the same short title so I understand how the mistaken identity between the acts could have been made. DraftSaturn15 (talk) 03:45, 29 April 2024 (UTC)
For your information, I have completed the transcription of Copyright Act 1968 (Cth.). It's definitely a long work, but I'll encourage you to proofread it if you have time, thanks!廣九直通車 (talk) 08:14, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
The Leveller Movement
[edit]I see that you had been working on Index:The Leveller movement; a study in the history and political theory of the English Great Civil War (IA levellermovement01peas).pdf. There is another copy at Index:The Leveller movement; a study in the history and political theory of the English Great Civil War (IA levellermovement01peas).djvu which is more progressed. (It looks to me as if the same user createed both indexes - it is a pity that they did not have the .pdf deleted at the time.) I have proposed that the .pdf index should be deleted. I think that with the handful of pages which have been transcribed in both, those in the .pdf will also be deleted. -- Beardo (talk) 13:11, 7 March 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads up. DraftSaturn15 (talk) 07:17, 8 March 2025 (UTC)
Tweet at Page:Greenwich v Latham (2024, FCA).pdf/23 etc.
[edit]If the Tweet image is non-free, wouldn't the Tweet itself (as text) also be non-free? SnowyCinema (talk) 01:02, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
- Yes. I've edited the non-free tweet on that page to be in line with the others in the judgment. DraftSaturn15 (talk) 08:13, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
Validate
[edit]Could you please validate Page:For Women Scotland Ltd v The Scottish Ministers (2025, UKSC).pdf/53? I validated the rest of the work, this is the very last page. I made a stupid edit, rolled it back, and now I'm locked out of validating it. Eievie (talk) 18:55, 12 February 2026 (UTC)
This page is showing as having a "lint" error. I am not clear what is causing that, but wonder if it is related to the fact that there are three np2/s and only one np2/e. -- Beardo (talk) 13:35, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- The header line 1 np2/s is for the continuation of para 74 and is closed by np2/e on page body line 9. The np2/s on page body line 15 is theoretically closed by the second np2/e in the footer and the np2/s on line page body line 23 is closed by the first np2/e in the footer. The quote/s has a quote/e. To me, it would appear that the templates are properly closed (if that's the right word for it). There was an extra blank line but I don't think it was that, regardless, I have removed it. —DraftSaturn15 (talk) 22:56, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
- Since I wrote, ShakespearFan00 made some changes which cured the problem. If you look back to your version you will see that it was not like that. -- Beardo (talk) 23:11, 18 March 2026 (UTC)
