Gandhi's works[edit]

Hi, Since The Poet and the Wheel wasn't published independently, it should be a subpage of Young India, Viking Press, 1924-1926. So the table of content for that book is needed. Thanks for your contributions. Yann (talk) 10:22, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please wait until the pages are transcribed[edit]

Please do not create pages like The Calcutta Review, 3rd Series/Volume 16/Evolution of Sanskrit Drama until the pages are transcribed and ready to be transcluded. Creations such of these add no value, and when left like this are just ugly and misleading to people and search engines. Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:53, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your help on the Mahabharata[edit]

It seems you're one of the first people to independently visit and assist me with the Mahabharata transcription project! Consider me motivated to press on, and whether or not you continue to make edits, I appreciate the help. — SpikeShroom (talk) 22:21, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome :-). I would suggest you look at the Project Gutenberg version of the Mahabharata (https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/15474) Anindya (talk) 09:16, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I am looking at The Calcutta Review, 3rd Series/Volume 16/Calcutta University and its Critics and I believe that it is overlinked for our site. Institutions and the like are readily searchable are not things that we typically link; author links should be local wherever possible, and we also encourage the use of {tl|wikidata link}} if there is the chance that a local link will ever eventuate. I would also note that wariness should be used in adding links for what we think maybe the intended target of a comment or reference to another work. I would also not be expecting to see something like [[red link|some text]] in proofread page; these should be removed. Thanks — billinghurst sDrewth 21:31, 27 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This page, with no actual content, looks unwanted and can be speedy deleted as redundant. Am I right ? It seems to have an excess / at the end of the page name. -- Beardo (talk) 22:04, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Right! It was created by mistake. Thanks in advance. Sutradhar links (talk) 04:39, 29 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Adam's Reports on Vernacular Education in Bengal and Behar, Submitted to Government in 1835, 1836 and 1838.[edit]

Regarding the two pages which you blanked, it is better to include the template sdelete on such pages - that puts them into a category that the administrators can check and act upon. Just mentioning in the edit description won't necessarily be noticed. -- Beardo (talk) 03:58, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't know about 'sdelete'; thanks for the heads-up. Sutradhar links (talk) 10:59, 21 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
