The Dictionary of National Biography (DNB) is a standard work of reference on notable figures from British history, published from 1885. The authors below contributed to the biographies contained with the work.
The DNB project exists to transcribe the biographies and assign the biographies to the respective authors. Where possible obituaries have been transcribed. A list of those identified and not transcribed are available at Category:Obituaries available
